IDW Publishing continues to boldly go to great lengths to explore the new universe of Star Trek as defined by the blockbuster film with Star Trek: Nero #1. To date, director J.J. Abrams’s Star Trek has grossed more than $220 million worldwide, indicative of the renewed interest and continuing buzz the property currently enjoys. Now, joined by Star Trek writer/producers Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman, writers Mike Johnson & Tim Jones and artist David Messina – the creative team behind IDW’s bestselling Star Trek: Countdown prequel series – provide new insights into the film’s Romulan villain.
