 For twenty years, The Killing Joke has been considered by many to be the quintessential Joker story. Not only in it's dark portrayal of the Clown Prince of Crime, but the events have had a lasting impact on the characters of the DC Universe. This deluxe edition is a hardcover of the one-shot with a forward by Tim Sale and is also filled with commentary and an extra comic by artist Brian Bollard. There is a lot to like in this edition of the story, with a complete recoloring job by Bollard that really eventuates his amazing art. His realistic style helped make this creepy tale even creepier and there are some images that still stick with me. A classic tale of The Joker, Batman, and one big joke.
